What April brings to us is that NOW is the time to discard our self imposed limitations
Using the gifts of understanding and forgiveness of our self doubt and fears.
April is the time to move into that fresh start that we've been seeking. The energy this month is powerfully
consistent which means April's pace will be highly energized.
Do Your Work and Catch the Wave! Surf the Wave! Embrace your fears to release them. Now is the time to go for it!
April is your best opportunity to do more deep cleaning and clearing!
It may be easy to look around our world today and see the appearance of chaos, difficulty and strife.
Yet, when we come from an open heart,
we can also see our opportunity to love all things into balance, joy, harmony and peace.
This planet does not need more visions of desperation, fear, doubt and hate -
It requires an abundance of love, especially unconditional love, to heal and restore the beauty
contained in every moment.
This becomes the easier path once we take the first step and begin to share our love.
When we bring unconditional love back into our personal, community and family lives, we begin the journey
of restoring wholeness and happiness to our planetary adventure.
Of course it takes determined effort on our part as the old ways of being are quick to return in our mind.
However, this effort to love is rewarded with a new perspective on everything and
all life benefits as a result.
A little kid narrates the story of burnt Chapatti:
When I was a kid, my mom liked to make chapatti for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular
when she had made after a long, hard day at work.
On that evening , my mom placed a plate of eggs and extremely burned chapatti in front of my dad.
I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed. Yet all my dad did was reach for his chapatti,
smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school.
I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him enjoying that chapatti and eat every bite.
When I got up from the table that evening,
I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the chapatti.
And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned chapatti."
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his chapatti burned.
He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Mother put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired.
And besides - a little burnt chapatti never hurt anyone."
Life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best at hardly anything,
and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else.
But what I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other’s faults -
and choosing to celebrate each other’s differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy,
growing, and lasting relationship. And that's my prayer for you today.
That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God.
I wish you all well and trust your April will be a clean sweep!
